Velo riders compete off road in a number of competitions throughout the year.

As well as the traditional winter discipline of cyclo-cross; where members have raced in London League, East Kent League events, South East Team Championships, and the New Years Day Madison at Herne Hill, velo riders have shown their colours at the London Summer Cross league run during the warm evenings of July and August.

Mountain biking has not been forgotten either, and riders have raced at Hadleigh Park in Essex, the 2012 Olympics venue, as well as venues in Kent.

A number of members also regularly organise groups rides off roads on the various by-ways and bridleways of the Kent Downs.
